Twin Lakes is an American artisanal brewery preserving the art of brewing. 10 years ago, a group of friends who shared a passion for home-brewing came together over their love of the craft, and decided to form a brewery that followed the time-honored methods of great brewing using only the best ingredients. We use only deep aquifer well-water, the finest grains, 100% whole-flower hops, and cultured yeast. Our Master Brewers adhere to traditional brewery methods by making beer that is steam brewed, gravity-fed, unfiltered and unpasteurized, to provide our customers with a truly delicious craft beer experience. Naturally brewed with a passion to be Fresh-Local-Delicious, at Twin Lakes we don't make extreme beers, just extremely drinkable beers.
Nassau Valley Vineyards is Delaware’s first and only award winning winery. Located just a few miles from Delaware’s bustling beach resorts, the winery is nestled among verdant fields on a quiet country road. One turn off the highway and you are a world away. Founded in 1987, their vineyards were the first commercial wine vineyards to exist in the “First” state. Peg Raley and her father, Bob Raley, founded the vineyards on a family farm site just outside of historic Lewes, Delaware. Peg got her start in the wine business working for Les Amis du Vin International and The Friends of Wine magazine. After several years of globetrotting for the publication, she decided it was time to stop writing about other people’s wines and start making wines in Delaware. Delaware’s laws prohibited farm wineries, so Peg drafted legislation and lobbied the Delaware General Assembly to create Farm Winery legislation for the state. The law passed in 1991. The Raley’s opened Nassau Valley Vineyards in October of 1993. Their vineyards are comprised of Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. They use other regionally grown fruit to produce the 14 wines in their product line. They purchase grapes and fruit from growers on the eastern shore and supplement with other regionally grown fruit.
Nestled among the rolling hills of southern Chester County, Pennsylvania, combines current technology and handcrafted secrets to create unique wines, made from homegrown grapes, and from those of only selected custom growers.
Moderating influences of the Chesapeake and Delaware bays and the southern sloping mica soils afford Paradocx a unique mesoclimate in the region. This mesoclimate coupled with state-of-the-art viticulture practices, create a winning combination for this 5,000 case winery. The owners and management of Paradocx Vineyard, who share a fervent passion for winemaking, adhere to the principle that winemaking begins with success in the vineyard.
With over 100 acres of land, 30 of which are under vine, Paradocx's home vineyard in Landenberg, Pennsylvania offers an array of grapes for head winemaker Dave Hoffman to choose from, including 27 acres of vinifera vines and 3 acres of Chambourcin and Vidal vines. By providing only the finest grapes that our site has to offer, we are able to afford our winemaker with the best possible start for a quality wine in the bottle.
Paradocx Vineyard is owned and operated by the Hoffman and Harris Families. The name of the winery is a play on words, as the four principles are practicing physicians (Pair of Docs). In addition to a full-time staff, members of both families and committed friends tend to make the winery a successful venture.
