MCS Annual Fund

The Immediate Need

Because Manhattan Country School maintains an unparalleled commitment to economic diversity compared to independent schools nationally (75 percent vs. 22.5 percent), tuition revenue only covers approximately 70 percent of our annual operating budget. Meeting the annual budget each year depends on a successful Annual Fund.

What Is the Annual Fund?

The MCS Annual Fund is the school’s largest and most important annual fundraising effort. Annual Fund revenue is applied directly to annual operating expenses not covered by tuition and fees. These expenses include faculty and staff benefits, professional and curriculum development, educational supplies for classrooms, technology upgrades and maintenance of our facilities at MCS and the MCS Farm. Annual Fund gifts for the current fiscal year are due by June 30, 2016.

How You Can Help

Gifts to the MCS Annual Fund sustain our program, our mission and our steadfast commitment to an equitable tuition program that fosters broad racial, cultural and economic diversity.

Please give to the 2015-2016 Annual Fund and help us to build a more sustainable future.
